Accessibility and Transport

Travelling to Sherwood Medical Partnership

By Car

We have a large patient car park with 41 parking spaces, 4 of which are designated as disabled parking spots. There are no speed ramps in the car park and it uses a one way system for safety. Patients can park while attending for appointments and we also have a designated ‘Drop Off’ zone just outside of Well Pharmacy’s front doors.

By Bus

The Newlands Drive Bus stop is close by to the surgery. There is a path from the bus stop to the surgery that is flat and travels around the back of the surgery car parks. The bus stop is serviced by Stagecoach 14, 15, 15a and 16 buses. Buses arrive at the stop every 10-20 minutes during service hours.

Accessibility

Wheelchair and Mobility

Our practice is Wheelchair accessible. Appointment rooms are all on the ground floor and the entrance is also at ground level, without slopes. All of our doors, including fire exits, are wide and wheelchair accessible. Our accessible toilet can be found just behind Reception. We also have an accessible front desk counter and check in screen.

Communication

We can provide a range of support for communication difficulties, from booking interpreters to providing documents in large print or alternative languages. If you need any support during your visit, let us know and we will be happy to arrange it.

Sensory

We have a designated, separate waiting area behind reception for patients who need a quieter, calmer space.
