Some services provided by your GP are not covered under our contract with the NHS and therefore will attract a charge. Examples of this include:
- Medicals for pre-employment, sports and driving requirements (HGV, PSV etc.)
- Insurance claim forms
- Fostering Medicals
- Holiday cancelation insurance form
- Bus Pass applications
- Dustbin collection letter
- Taxi medical renewal
The fees charged are based on the British Medical Association (BMA) suggested scales, please use the link below to view our current private list for private work.
Should you wish to make a request for private work to be completed by the GP please note there is a 6 week turnaround time scale for this work to be completed, dated from the date the Practice receives your request. Please click on the link below to download a request form. Please ensure you include as much detail as possible about what you would like the GP to complete and any information you might wish them to include in the report or letter.
Although you may request a certain GP to complete this work for you we cannot always guarantee this will be possible.
