Sherwood Medical Partnership is a member of the Sherwood Primary Care Network whose members are the group of practices delivering GP practice services to the Sherwood locality area. This area includes Abbey Medical Group, Bilsthorpe Surgery, Hillview Surgery & Farnsfield Surgery, Major Oak Medical Practice, Middleton Lodge Practice and Sherwood Medical Partnership.
Members of the practices teams from across the network meet regularly to discuss GP services across the area and work collaboratively on projects to support service provision and improvement.
Working with Sherwood PCN we have a number of additional roles staff who enhance our practice teams. These include Social Prescribers, Pharmacists and Pharmacy Technicians, First Contact Physiotherapists, Health and Wellbeing Coach and Specialist Mental Health Practitioner. Where appropriate a clinician at the surgery may refer you or put you in touch with these extended team members to best support you on your healthcare pathway.
